3rd ANNUAL BLUE PLATE MEDIA LOUNGE™ - AT TOY FAIR 2010
Listen, Learn, Meet, Greet DISNEY & NICKELODEON Executives at Blue Plate Media Lounge
New York, NY – February 3, 2010 -- Demystifying the media planning and buying process, and educating toy and youth marketers about the current media landscape, is the goal of Blue Plate Media’s 3rd Annual Blue Plate Media Lounge, a one day, no cost, Toy Fair event on Tuesday, February 16th, Room 1B05, at Jacob Javits Center.
Serving as media advocate to industry marketers and Toy Industry Association (TIA) members, Blue Plate Media will host and moderate two expert panel discussions with Disney and Nickelodeon, providing an insider’s look at how to understand, reach, connect and engage with Kids and Moms, across the industry’s leading platforms, including television, online and radio. Attendance is free and encouraged.
Created by David Becker, President of Blue Plate Media Services, and six year affinity partner to Toy Industry Association, Blue Plate Media Lounge at Toy Fair was created as an open, educational, roll-up-the-sleeves forum, a Media Day, for toy manufacturers and marketers to meet and exchange ideas with traditional and digital media providers. “Figuring out where your brand belongs…and how to spend your media dollars wisely to reach and engage with your moving target, and still get them to experience your brand and buy your product, is the name of the game in this drastically shifting media landscape”, says Becker. “There is a method to the madness…and smart, strategic, well-placed, cost efficient, engaging media is key to the campaign.” continues Becker. “Our Annual Blue Plate Media Lounge simplifies the process and explains the media landscape in a language that is both understandable and executable.”
Toy and youth marketers looking to grasp and leverage what is new in the Kid space are invited to attend. Following an informal presentation, executives will be on hand to informally meet and greet, educate, answer questions, and review and present 2010 media opportunities. Attendance is free. Registration is encouraged. Seating is limited. Participants are invited and encouraged to email questions to BPMS prior to attendance.
Additionally, during 8AM – 10AM and 2PM – 4PM, marketers are invited to participate in an informal, one-on-one, strategic media session with Blue Plate Media executives, designed to facilitate dialogue, answer company-specific media questions, and look under the hood of relevant, integrated media vehicles that connect with Kids and drive the brand. Blue Plate Media will explain and uncover cross-platform media packages designed exclusively for emerging, mid-tier and mature brands to buy media more effectively and to maximize the impact of messaging.
